We are seeking an exceptionally talented and dedicated Cake Designer to join our team. This role is a perfect blend of high-level patisserie skills and sophisticated artistic execution, responsible for turning client visions into edible masterpieces.
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)
- Design Consultation: Lead client meetings, interpret complex briefs, and translate them into stunning, structurally sound cake designs.
- Advanced Decoration: Master the creation of realistic Sugar Flowers, detailed Fondant Sculpting, and intricate Piping work.
- Flawless Execution: Ensure superior cake quality, flavor, and professional finishing (sharp edges, smooth application of fondant/ganache).
- Structural Integrity: Engineer and assemble complex multi-tiered and suspended cakes for safe delivery and display.
- Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
Qualifications & Attributes (Who You Are)
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in a high-volume or high-end custom cake design environment. A strong, proven portfolio is mandatory.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency in advanced baking techniques, airbrushing, hand-painting, and modeling chocolate work.
- Education: Formal qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Patisserie or Culinary Arts is preferred.
- Attributes: Highly creative, obsessive attention to detail, excellent client communication, and a calm, resourceful approach to problem-solving.
